My mom and I were talking this weekend... I was telling her something crazy my son said, and she asked if I was writing this stuff down. I told her no, I hadn't been, but that I thought I would start doing so.
See, when I was pregnant, I bought the baby books,and first year calendars, and all those cute little scrapbooky things, just KNOWING I would take the time to fill them out each month or for each milestone. But then I went back to work after maternity leave, and I moved, and then left work to go back to school, and then I started working again, and now... Atlee is 4 and I haven't even looked at those things for 3 1/2 years! Time really does fly!
I'm going to start blogging about the daily adventures of my son now, and hopefully do some nostalgic posts about his earlier days. This is mostly for myself, my own personal record for the future, but also for him. I'd like for him to be able to read this by himself one day, and see what he remembers growing up. And for family and friends and others to read and watch him grow.
Be prepared to laugh, because this kid is pretty hilarious! :)
